This page explains what happens to the information you give us when you join the ARC Surface 8 waitlist. Aevum Audio is based in South Africa, and we handle your information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Who we are

Aevum Audio is responsible for your information. For anything on this page, email privacy@aevumaudio.co.za.

What we collect

• Your email address.
• The DAW you use, if you choose one. It's optional.
• Basic technical details that our form service records with each sign-up, such as the time it was sent.

We don't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

What we use it for

• To email you when pre-orders for ARC Surface 8 open, with the price and ship date, and with other news about ARC Surface 8.
• To see which DAWs our customers use, so we know which integrations to build first.

We use your information only because you gave it to us for this purpose. We don't sell it, rent it or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who handles it for us

• Formspree receives and stores waitlist sign-ups. Formspree is based in the United States, so your email address is stored outside South Africa.
• An email service may be used to send the pre-order announcement. If so, we'll copy the list to that service to send it.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces on this site, so your browser connects to Google when the page loads.
• Our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to run the site.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until the waitlist is no longer needed, whichever comes first. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can object to us using it. Email privacy@aevumaudio.co.za and we'll reply within 30 days.

If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to South Africa's Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.

Changes

If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. For a significant change, we'll email the waitlist first.
